Recreational opportunities, as well as cultural and natural resources, abound at Lake Accotink Park. The park serves a diverse community with equally diverse interests. Every summer, thousands of visitors come to enjoy the great outdoors through our various amenities. The park has a 3.75 loop for walkers and bicyclist alike. Our picturesque lake can be enjoyed from a canoe or kayak which you can rent -- or launch your own. Families love amusements such as the Lucky Duck Miniature Golf course and our antique carousel. The park is also a great place for groups, due to multiple picnic and pavilion areas to accommodate any size event. The park includes a basketball and sand volleyball court, and a playground as well.
Besides all of the lake front amenities Lake Accotink Park offers many classes and camps each year. Art classes for all ages are offered year round. Each spring there are multiple sport, exercise, fitness, and pet classes to meet many interests. In the summer our park comes alive with inquisitive minds in our summer camp programs. Check out our website for a full listing and to register for our programs.
