  • 2020 Valor Awards Nomination Form

    The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce Valor Awards recognize and honor first responders who serve residents and businesses in our community. The Chamber accepts nominations of public safety heroes from the Fairfax County Police Department, Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department, Fairfax County Office of the Sheriff & Virginia State Police, and frontline Healthcare Professionals. Awards are given in recognition of heroic actions on the job, above and beyond the everyday call of duty, in and around the Greater Springfield area. In addition to award recipients and their families, the Chamber's spring Valor Awards Breakfast is attended by area business leaders, community residents, public safety professionals and elected officials.
    Awards will be presented for acts of heroism that occurred March 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
    Nominations must be submitted by noon, Friday, August 28, 2020.

    NOMINATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOON, FRIDAY, August 28, 2020. The Valor Awards Committee will make all final selections and notify honorees. Nominators may be contacted for additional information. Awards will be presented at the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce's Fall 2020 Valor Awards Breakfast.
