• The Greater Springfield Chamber provides the Hilton Springfield with information and contacts within the business community that has enabled our business to be the premier Springfield hospitality company since 1978.

The Economic Development Committee focuses on workforce and economic development, land use, and transportation issues effecting businesses in the Greater Springfield area.

Fairfax County to Change Comprehensive Plan ~ The Comprehensive Plan guides how land is used. The significant increase in jobs at Fort Belvoir will affect housing, transportation and public services, as well as create potential opportunities for new jobs, goods and services in large areas of the county in the Springfield, Lee, and Mount Vernon Districts. The purpose of the BRAC Area Plans Review (APR) effort is to consider whether the Comprehensive Plan should be amended to respond to these changes. Economic Development Committee meetings are held the third Friday of each month, 8:00am at the Hilton Springfield.
